College Radio means something different to everyone involved with this medium, but the central focus for all of us is that it provides a voice for a fluid musical landscape that doesn’t always fit onto the mainstream dial.

LUBBOCK, Texas — 6th annual College Radio Day is in the books and was a great success for colleges throughout the world including KTXT 88.1 FM The Raider in Lubbock, TX.

KTXT-FM Student Part of White House Delegation
WASHINGTON DC – A Texas Tech student has been invited as part of a College Radio delegation visiting the White House today.
Amy Olivarez, a Senior Electronic Media and Communication major, is representing Texas Tech University and its college radio station KTXT-FM, as part of an 18-member delegation of students from across the country to meet with White House officials to discuss College Radio.
