TTU Regents Approve School of Accounting
The Texas Tech University System Board of Regents Academic, Clinical and Student Affairs Committee approved today (Feb. 28) the Area of Accounting in the Rawls College of Business to become the School of Accounting, the first school of accountancy in Texas, pending full board approval Friday.
TTU Board of Regents Elects New Officers, Swears in Newly Appointed Members
The Texas Tech University (TTU) System Board of Regents elected today (Feb. 28) Mickey Long and Larry Anders chairman and vice chairman, respectively, during its February board meeting in Abilene. The two will serve two-year terms effective immediately.
TTU System Regents to meet Feb. 28 – March 1
The Texas Tech University System Board of Regents will meet Thursday and Friday (Feb. 28 – March 1) in Abilene. The meeting will take place in Room 2000 of the new Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) School of Nursing Building (1674 Pine Street, Abilene, TX 79601).
Gov. Perry Appoints Regents for Texas Tech University System
This afternoon (Feb. 14), Gov. Rick Perry announced his appointments to the Board of Regents for the Texas Tech University System. Rick Francis of El Paso has been re-appointed, and John Esparza of Austin and Tim Lancaster of Abilene are newly appointed members. Each of the three appointees will serve a six-year term that ends Jan. 31, 2019.
