(Washington, DC) — Dr. Anthony Fauci plans to retire at the end of President Biden’s current term. The NIH veteran is Biden’s chief medical adviser and has been at the forefront of the fight against COVID. Fauci told Politico the U.S. will probably be living with COVID for a long time. He expects the nation to be headed toward a “once-a-year boost, like flu.” Fauci also expressed regrets about the politicization of COVID.
