(Austin, TX) — Beto O’Rourke, who is running for Texas governor as a Democrat, is flush with cash. His campaign has raised about 30-million dollars, according to the latest finance report. That’s more than any other state-level candidate has raised in Texas history. This is the first report since the mass shooting in Uvalde [[yoo-val-dee]] and the overturning of Roe v. Wade. However, cash doesn’t guarantee a victory. O’Rourke broke records when he ran for the Senate in 2018, but lost to Republican Ted Cruz.
