Former UT-Austin head football coach Tom Herman joins the Chicago Bears. The Bears organization made the announcement yesterday.
Herman served as Texas’ head football coach from 2017 to 2020.
He concluded his tenure in Austin with a 32-18 overall record and zero Big 12 titles.
A tweet yesterday from the Bears says Herman will work as an offensive analyst and special projects coach.
Herman was let go as Longhorns head football coach and has been replaced with Steve Sarkisian, former offensive coordinator with Alabama.
