(Dallas, TX) — The city of Dallas and Methodist Hospital are teaming up to expand and improve vaccination capabilities.
City and hospital officials announced the arrangement on Monday. The idea is to prevent long delays, such as the ones at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center vaccination site on Saturday.
Mayor Eric Johnson apologized for the problems in the attempt to administer more than two-thousand doses that day. Johnson blamed ineffective city confirmation procedures and thousands of people who showed up without appointments.
