Major League Baseball’s oldest former player will turn 100-years-old today.
Eddie Robinson played first base over a 15-year playing career with seven teams from 1942 to 1957.
He then stayed in baseball after retirement and worked his way up to being the general manager of the Atlanta Braves from 1972 to 1976 and the Texas Rangers from 1978 to 1982.
Robinson was a four-time All-Star and currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas with his wife, Bette.
