Dallas County is coming off its deadliest week in the months-long coronavirus pandemic.
Eight new deaths were reported yesterday.
County Judge Clay Jenkins tweeted about the imminent vaccine arrival and added folks should wear a mask, which can act as a vaccine.
The new deaths came in addition to just over 21-hundred new infections that were reported.
The Texas Department of State Health Services has reported an estimated 127,768 recoveries for Dallas County as of Saturday, Dec. 12.
