Governor says hair, nail salons can reopen this Friday

Governor Greg Abbott says hair and nail salons can reopen starting this Friday. 

Yesterday’s announcement says salons must keep hairstylists separate by six feet, take appointments only or have walk-ins wait outdoors with social distancing and only attend to one customer at a time. 

The measure applies to cosmetology salons, barbershops, hair salons, nail salons and tanning salons.  Gyms will reopen May 18th.
