Governor Greg Abbott says the number of hospital beds in Texas is increasing.
During a news conference at the Capitol on Friday night, Abbott said the number of beds has increased 15-percent, making over 19-thousand-600 beds available statewide.
Over two-thousand intensive care beds are available as well.
Abbott also addressed the growing concern about ventilators, saying the state has over eight-thousand-700.
