As of Friday, travelers entering Texas from Louisiana will no longer be required to undergo a 14-day self-quarantine.
The restriction took effect a month ago in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Gov. Greg Abbott’s order on Monday about the reopening of Texas businesses also announced the upcoming end of the Louisiana travel restriction.
People flying in from California, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey and Washington still have to self-quarantine, along with travelers from Atlanta, Chicago, Detroit and Miami.
