President Trump is showing respect to a U.S. soldier from San Antonio killed in Afghanistan Saturday.
Trump and Vice President Mike Pence were on hand at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware late Monday for the transfer of the remains of Sergeant First Class Javier Gutierrez of San Antonio.
The 28-year-old died Saturday in an insider attack in the Nangarhar Province. Gutierrez was a U.S. Army Special Forces fighter assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida.
