Gov. Greg Abbott’s communications director is stepping down soon.
At age 33, Matt Hirsch has already guided Abbott’s election and reelection strategy for seven-years.
Hirsch announced Tuesday that he’s interested in finding something else to do. Abbott gave a statement thanking Hirsch for his service.
His resignation is effective as of the end of the month.
