The Seattle Seahawks have claimed receiver Josh Gordon off of waivers from the New England Patriots.
Gordon was on the injured reserve of the Patriots until they released him yesterday. The former Baylor Bear had been playing with an injured left knee throughout the season until he was taken out of the game back in early October against the Giants.
The Patriots seemed to take the injury too seriously and also planned to cut him at the end of this season. The Seahawks saw the opportunity in the 28-year-old to pair up with the 21-year-old rookie, D.K. Metcalf who has four touchdowns on the year.
Russell Wilson is quite overlooked in the MVP race as he has 17 touchdown passes with over 2,100 yards through eight games. The short and underrated quarterback and spring training baseball player will host the Buccaneers this Sunday at 3:05 PM.
