The Clippers defeated the Lakers in the Battle for LA last night, 112-102.
Lebron’s new BFF on his team, Anthony Davis, had 25 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 blocks in the loss. After Lebron’s controversial stance on Hong Kong, he scored 18 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. The Lakers’ real MVP was Danny Green who hit 7 3-pointers, and 7 rebounds, ending with 28 points.
The possibly over-hyped Lakers did not have a defensive presence against the high powered Clippers. Kawhi Leonard dominated with 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists while Lou Williams helped out with 21 points and 7 assists in the victory.
The Clippers will face another top tier team in the Warriors tomorrow while the Lakers will face the much-improved Jazz this Friday.
