The Houston Texans traveled to Kansas City yesterday and gave the Chiefs their second loss of the year.
Now MVP candidate Deshaun Watson had 3 total touchdowns in the win, 2 on the ground and 1 in the air. He threw for 280 yards and threw 2 deep interceptions, both looking for flags on the play. The pass protection for Watson was spectacular since he was not even sacked, now for the second week in a row. Also helping out on the ground, Watson had 10 carries for 42 yards.
Running back Carlos Hyde had a great day with 26 carries for 11 yards and a touchdown. Tight end Darren Fells was the leading receiver with 69 yards while Hopkins had 55 and Fuller had 3 drops that all could have been touchdowns.
Patrick Mahomes threw 3 touchdowns on the day with 273 passing yards with throwing his first interception on the season. LeSean McCoy struggled on the ground with only having 44 yards but Tyreek Hill stepped up for his first game back from his shoulder injury with 2 touchdowns, one of them being a jump ball in double coverage.
The Kansas City Chiefs will travel to Denver to play the Broncos this Thursday night while the Texans will face the Colts in Indianapolis this Sunday.
