Vikings star wide receiver Stefon Diggs said there is some “truth to all rumors” regarding if he had requested a trade away from Minnesota.
Over the past couple of weeks, there have been many rumors that Stefon Diggs wants out of Minnesota because of being under-utilized in the offense. Running back Davlin Cook seems to be the clear number one option for offense for the Vikings, but how do you involve a star receiver like Diggs?
When asked if he as requested a trade, Diggs said “I haven’t communicated anything. The conversations I’ve had [with the Vikings] have only been about team and trying to have success on the field.”
But for some reason, he hadn’t spoken with his agent to see if he has asked the Vikings to trade him.
Interesting.
When asked about Diggs’ availability for Week 5, offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski said “I think our focus is on today and on practice. We’ll see how it goes.”
