A bartender who served drinks to a man who a short time later killed eight people won’t be charged with a crime.
The Collin County Grand Jury didn’t indict Lindsey Glass for a charge of selling alcohol to an intoxicated person.
In 2017, Glass served drinks to 32-year-old Spencer Hight, who later shot and killed his estranged wife and seven of her friends as they watched a Cowboys game on TV.
Plano officers soon fatally shot Hight at the scene. Glass’s attorneys pointed out that she was the person who called the police in the first place.
