San Antonio area residents will have an opportunity to participate in National Take-Back Day this weekend.
The event offers a safe way to get rid of expired or unused prescription drugs.
A drop-off site will be available at the Balcones Heights Justice Center on Hillcrest, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday.
The Drug Enforcement Administration will accept vaping devices and cartridges for the first time, but can’t take devices with lithium ion batteries.
