The Jaguars have traded Jalen Ramsey to the Rams for first-round picks in 2020 and 2021, and a fourth-round pick in 2021.
After veteran corner Aqib Talib was but on the IR recently from a rib injury, the Rams traded away Pro Bowler Marcus Peters to the Ravens, leaving a huge need in their secondary. But enter Jalen Ramsey.
Ramsey has wanted out of Jacksonville ever since the Jags’ Week 2 loss to the Texans 13-12. He had also gotten in many heated arguments with head coach Doug Marrone on and off the field reportedly.
That next week, he did not practice due to an “illness.” And then missed a Wednesday practice from a “back injury.” Then Ramsey had to miss the rest of the week from the birth of his second child. So excuses or not, Ramsey has wanted a trade from the team pretty badly.
Ramsey now has a good chance at being a Super Bowl champion with playing with the explosive offense and solid defense in Los Angeles.
