It all comes down to this: Game 7 of the World Series

This is now officially the last and most important game of the entire season. Game 7.

The Astros fell to the Nationals last night 7-2 as neither team has managed to win at home yet in this World Series. Washington proved that they were not ready to go home as they remain undefeated in elimination games in this postseason.

Anthony Rendon has had an uneventful World Series until yesterday where he ended up with 5 RBIs on the night. After bringing in a run in the first with a single, later in the 7th, he hit a 2-run home run to get a 3-point edge on Houston. If that wasn’t enough, in the 9th, Rendon put the nail in the coffin as he doubled to deep right field to bring in 2 more.

Tonight will showcase a deadly pitching showdown between Nationals’ Max Scherzer and Astros’ Zack Greinke. Scherzer pitched in Game 1 of the Series and had 7 strikeouts and only 2 runs allowed to help win in Houston. Greinke got the nod from the Astros in Game 3 and had 6 strikeouts while allowing 7 hits but only 1 run to get their first win of the series in Washington.

You can catch Game 7 of the World Series tonight with first pitch set for 7:08 in Houston on Fox.
