Emmanuel Sanders traded to the 49ers

The Denver Broncos have traded star receiver Emmanuel Sanders to the San Francisco 49ers.

The 49ers traded away 2020 third-and fourth-round draft picks while receiving a 2020 fifth-round pick and Sanders.

Sanders said he is ready to “get out to San Fran and showcase my talents.”

While in Denver, Sanders had some good years, but those years were mainly when he was teammates with Peyton Manning. The Broncos have had QB issues ever since Manning retired and the receiving core has suffered from it.

The 49ers desperately needed a standout receiver to go with the great potential in the young Jimmy Garoppolo. While still undefeated on the season, San Fran has been and is definitely now a possible Super Bowl contender.
