The North Texas man accused of driving to El Paso and killing 22 inside a Walmart will make his first court appearance this afternoon.
The 21-year-old is set to arraigned at 2 p.m. Mountain time on capital murder charges for August’s attack.
He’s also expected to enter a plea.
It’s the first time he’ll be seen in public since the shooting and El Paso County prosecutors are planning to seek the death penalty.
The suspect did post a manifesto the day of the attack saying it was happening because he hated Hispanics, corporations, and people who did not care about the environment.
