Testimony continues today in the murder trial of former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger.
On Wednesday the jury heard from Texas Rangers Sgt. David Armstrong, the lead investigator of the case.
Armstrong described the layout of the parking garage of the South Side Flats, where the killing took place, as “confusing.”
He said he’d parked on the wrong floor of the garage during the investigation, and said he’d talked to residents who reported trying to enter an apartment on the wrong floor.
Guyger claims she accidentally went to Botham Jean’s apartment instead of hers and mistook him for an intruder.
