Country music fans are mourning the loss of Texas country singer Kylie Rae Harris.
Taos County Sheriff’s deputies say the 30-year-old was killed on Wednesday night when three vehicles got tangled up.
A teenage girl also died. Harris was supposed to perform in Taos on Thursday night as part of the Big Barn Dance Music Festival.
She’s been a mainstay in the Texas music scene for more than ten years. The North Texas native’s latest work was a self-titled EP that was released in March, according to CBS Dallas / Fort Worth. She previously recorded two other albums: “Taking It Back” and “What The Heart Wants.”
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, but details have not been released.
