Dallas County Unveils New Electronic Voting Machines

Dallas County officials will hold a series of public meetings starting this week to show voters the county’s new voting machines.

The county spent 30-million-dollars on the new machines, which will be used in the upcoming November election.  The machines make use of technology designed to improve election security.

On Election Day, voters will be able to cast a ballot at any of the more than 500 polling places in the county, which officials hope will boost voter turnout.
