Houston, TX — George H.W. Bush’s remains are headed to Washington D.C.
His body was loaded onto Air Force One this morning by members of the Secret Service’s Bush Protective Division.
“Hail to the Chief” was played during the Departure Ceremony.
The former President will lay in state at the U.S. Capitol rotunda this evening until Wednesday morning.
Bush’s funeral is set for Wednesday in D.C.
