Man Arrested After Woman’s Body Found In Truck

Houston, TX  —  A Houston man is under arrest in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in a truck.

Luis Romero is accused of killing Maria Santiago last Wednesday, then leaving her body in a field off La Porte Freeway near 610 Loop.

Police say Romero has confessed to the killing, although a motive hasn’t been released.
