(Dallas, TX) — Two witnesses are contradicting the Dallas police officer’s account of the night she entered the wrong apartment and shot a man to death.
Shortly before off-duty DPD Officer Amber Guyger shot Botham Jean on Thursday night, the women say they heard banging and someone shouting, “Let me in.”
Guyger has said she found the apartment door open and entered.
The witnesses, who are sisters, told their story to civil attorneys representing Jean’s family.
They will now talk to investigators gathering information for a grand jury.
