(San Antonio, TX) — A man is undergoing surgery at University Hospital after an officer-involved shooting took place at a West Side 7-Eleven this morning.
The suspect, who is described as a 41-year-old man, reportedly told police multiple times to kill him.
Reports say the suspect was caught shoplifting around 1:20 a.m. and when officers arrived on scene, the suspect was not cooperating.
Police used a stun gun on the man twice, but it was unsuccessful.
When the suspect tried to ram into the officers’ police cruiser, one of the officers opened fire.
