(Corpus Christi, TX) — The American Red Cross is preparing to help out in case severe flooding hits the Coastal Bend this weekend.
Lead volunteers in charge of food, shelter and recovery resources met on Wednesday.
Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicles can carry enough food to feed about 900 people.
The Red Cross says you should have a disaster kit containing water, nonperishable food, important documents, and first aid items.
They remind people who evacuate to let friends or relatives know where they’re going.
