(Houston, TX) — A new Telemundo Houston poll shows Hispanic voters statewide prefer the Democratic candidates over Republicans in two key Texas races.
In the governor’s race, Hispanic voters favor Lupe Valdez over incumbent Greg Abbott by a 44-to-38-percent margin.
In the U.S. Senate race, Hispanic voters prefer Beto O’Rourke 54-to-31-percent over incumbent Senator Ted Cruz.
In both races, the Libertarian is in single digits, but the undecided percentage is in the teens.
