New Poll Shows Cruz, O’Rourke Nearly Even

(Charlottesville, VA) — A new University of Virginia sponsored poll shows Ted Cruz and Beto O’Rourke are just about even.

Yesterday’s results in the poll, which was also conducted by Reuters and Ipsos, showed O’Rourke with 47-percent compared with Cruz’s 45-percent.

On Tuesday, a Quinnipiac University poll gave the Republican incumbent a 54 to 45 percent lead over Democrat O’Rourke.

The Quinnipiac poll was by phone while the UVA-Reuters-Ipsos poll was conducted online.
