Mavs, Cuban To Donate $10M To Women’s Orgs As Part Of NBA Penalty

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – SEPTEMBER 08: Businessman and TV personality Mark Cuban speaks onstage at TechCrunch Disrupt at Pier 48 on September 8, 2014 in San Francisco, California.

(Dallas, TX) — Mark Cuban and the Dallas Mavericks will donate $10 million to women’s organizations as a partial result of an investigation into sexual harassment and workplace misconduct.

The NBA levied the fine on the Mavs and Cuban on Wednesday after the team concluded a seven-month internal probe into the claims.

The report found ex-team president Terdema Ussery made inappropriate comments to 15 female workers while working with the team.

The probe found Cuban didn’t know what Ussery was doing and wasn’t told about it.
