As Hurricane Florence heads toward landfall, people flying into DFW Airport say it wasn’t easy to find a flight, a rental car, or a taxi to get out of the path of the storm.
Residents of the Carolinas have been flying inland, and Texans visiting the East Coast are also coming home.
The governors of both North and South Carolina have been warning people for days to leave as Florence approached.
Many of those who stayed are now advised to shelter in place.
