(Laredo, TX) — Dozens of immigrants held in a semi are now free.
Border agents in Laredo freed 55 illegal immigrants they found inside a tractor-trailer the agents were inspecting at an I-35 checkpoint Wednesday.
Agents say the immigrants were treated for heat exhaustion after temperatures inside the trailer were found to be around 100 degrees.
