Fort Worth Officer Dies Of Gunshot Wound

(Fort Worth, TX) — The suspects in the shooting death of a Fort Worth police officer will likely be charged with capital murder.

Late Thursday, Officer Garrett Hull was part of a team following three men suspected of 17 bar robberies.

When the suspects robbed another bar, a shootout with the officers resulted.

Officer Hull was shot in the head and died in the hospital late Friday night.

Hull was a 40-year-old husband with two children.

Timothy Huff and Samuel Mayfield are under arrest.

Dacion Steptoe, the third suspect, died in the gun battle.
