(Fort Worth, TX) — Passengers on American Airlines can now watch live TV on 100 domestic aircraft.
The Fort Worth-based carrier announced Thursday that this is the start of its plan to provide live TV and high-speed Internet access across its fleet of 700 jets in the year ahead.
A dozen TV channels are already available for streaming on passengers’ laptops, cell phones and tablets for free.
They include CNBC, Disney, FOX, the NFL Network, and Telemundo, among others.
