(Austin, TX) — The Texas man who created the plans for a 3D-printed gun is facing sexual assault charges.
Austin police say Cody Wilson paid a teenage girl $500 for sex last month after meeting on a dating website.
Police also say the two exchanged nude photos, then had sex at a hotel.
Investigators say they have surveillance video showing the two meeting together along with hotel records.
Wilson has not been arrested.
He created the 3D-printed gun several years ago, then sued the federal government after they ordered him to get rid of the post.
