(Houston, TX) — A Houston woman is fighting city hall over a water bill of more than $1,800.
The water meter says Monica Napier used 88,000 gallons in one month.
Napier says somebody ran over and broke her meter in February, which caused a leak on her property.
The water department says the meter wasn’t fixed until this month, and that there are still leaks that the landlord needs to fix.
Napier’s neighbor says her latest water bill is more than $2,600.
The city says there’s paperwork they can fill out to dispute the matter.
