(Houston, TX) — The longtime Coca-Cola bottling plant near West University Place is for sale.
Coca-Cola started operating the 16-acre plant on Bissonnet near Kirby in 1950.
The surrounding area is now top-dollar commercial and residential real estate, with the Southwest Freeway, the Westpark Tollway, and 610 West Loop nearby.
The plant is owned by Coca-Cola Southwest Beverages, a Dallas-based franchisee that plans to consolidate local operations into a million-square-foot facility in the Pinto Business Park in north Houston.
