UT Professors Could Appeal To Supreme Court Over Campus Carry

(Austin, TX) — Several University of Texas at Austin professors may appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court over the state’s campus carry law.

The U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a lawsuit against campus-carry on Thursday, saying there was no case.

The professors sued in 2016, claiming their rights were being violated, but have lost at both the district and appeals court levels.
