(Houston, TX) — A three-year-old girl is expected to survive after her father accidentally left her in a hot car all day Monday.
The child was taken to a local hospital suffering from dehydration.
Police say her father forgot to drop her off at day care.
He found her in the car about 4:15 p.m. near the intersection of South Gessner and the Southwest Freeway.
No word yet on whether the father will face charges.
