The Texas Tech volleyball team wins in a 5-game set comeback victory in dramatic fashion. The Lady Raiders came out very sluggish losing the first 2 sets 25-22 and 25-18. “We just got better as the match went on, we were really frustrated in the beginning” Head Coach Tony Graystone said.
After the First 2 sets the Lady Raiders gained momentum and never looked back by winning the next 3 sets 25-15, 25-18, and 15-9 resulting in the Lady Raiders winning the Red Raider Classic and starting off the season 3-0. After beating the North Dakota Fighting Hawks yesterday in straight sets.
The Lady Raiders will be on the road for the next 3 weeks and won’t return home until September 22 when they face-off against the West Virginia Mountaineers.
