(San Marcos, TX) — Two survivors of the Iconic Village Apartments fire in San Marcos are getting married.
Benjamin Muñoz and high school sweetheart Abril Cárdenas escaped the July 20th fire that killed five residents.
Muñoz said he proposed to Cárdenas when he was recovering in the hospital although no date has been set.
The couple is among several survivors who are suing the owners of the apartments for negligence.
