(Houston, TX) — A Jordanian immigrant is headed to death row for two honor killings in Houston.
A jury on Tuesday sentenced Ali Irsan to death for the two murders he committed in 2013.
Irsan killed his son-in-law and a friend of his daughter because they helped convince her to convert to Christianity.
Defense attorneys unsuccessfully argued Irsan should get life in prison so he couldn’t be considered a martyr.
