(Irving, TX) — The last cars still stranded on top of the partially collapsed parking garage in Irving are expected to be removed today.
Work crews have finished shoring up the structure, and some of the cars were removed over the weekend.
A crane will now lift the final three cars off the top level.
Afterward, crews will use the crane to start removing debris, along with the vehicles that were damaged or flattened.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused last Tuesday’s collapse, which resulted in no injuries or deaths.
