(Lake Conroe, TX) — The distressed woman who rang the doorbells of several Lake Conroe homes a few nights ago is safe, but her boyfriend is now dead.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office says the 32-year-old woman is at home with her family in the Dallas area.
Deputies found her 49-year-old boyfriend dead of a gunshot wound in a Lake Conroe home, and they say it looks like he shot himself.
A suicide note was found at the scene.
Investigators haven’t released the name of either the man or the woman.
