(Houston, TX) — A team in search of the Democratic Party’s 2020 convention site is wrapping up a three-day visit to Houston today.
Mayor Sylvester Turner and Rockets players Chris Paul and James Harden participated in a pep rally at Toyota Center on Thursday to welcome the Democratic National Committee delegation.
Houston is one of three cities being considered to host the convention, along with Miami Beach and Milwaukee.
The decision is expected early next year.
