Dallas, Austin Said To Be Strong Contenders For Amazon HQ2

(Dallas, TX) — CNBC says Dallas and Austin are both strong contenders in the race to land Amazon’s second headquarters.

The online retail giant’s $5 billion HQ2 is expected to bring 50,000 jobs with it.

CNBC recently ranked Texas as this year’s Top State for Business.

The network praised Dallas’s workforce and its access to DFW International Airport, as well as Austin’s tech scene and its home campus of the University of Texas.

Amazon-dot-com may narrow the list of 20 finalists as early as this month.
